Below is an email I've just received. Dear reader, if you could, spread the word around, particularly about the need for dog adopter / fosterer.
Subject: Jurong Island Dogs all to be culled
Dear all,
The authorities has done it again - they always like to capitalise on animal abuses cases reported and at the same time take the chance to cull the rest of the strays dogs or cats.
The case that Sandy reported last week - the 3 dogs that were brutally murder. Even though the details of rape (plastic were found in the dogs anuses and their intestines were ruptured) by perpetrator was not mentioned in the Straits Times, they still decide to revoke Sandy's pass to enter Jurong Island to feed them. 70+ strays will be culled by lacing their food with poison.
Below is Sandy's (SOS Animals) plea.
Bad news. Jurong Island instructed my client to terminate my security pass into Jurong Island. That means more than 70 stray dogs would be starved to death or face painful death by eating food laced with poison. Dogs died from the poison were buried by construction workers.
If SPCA and myself were disallowed to enter Jurong Island,
I am planning to offer $50 for every dog that is brought out alive and well. Need volunteers for an urgent adoption drive...TO SAVE THE JURONG ISLAND STRAYS.
